Defining my reality...

"The 'art of living' is an ever-evolving process of discovery and illumination"

As long as I can remember, I have been captivated by the beauty of art in all its forms—music, writing, fine arts, photography, and especially the natural world,.

As I grew older, I aspired to replicate those colors and sensations on a canvas, realizing that no traditional medium can fully capture nature's brilliance. While one of my favorite artists Yves Klein, with his unique and stunning Blue (IKB), has come close to achieving it, much like Icarus reaching for the sun, we can approach but never quite attain nature's perfection.

When I discovered digital art, I immediately recognized its potential to come closer to capturing the essence of the world around us. I also understand that we can never fully replicate nature's effortless beauty which my mind transforms or translates into sensual experiences. This realization is both comforting and a primary driving force behind my creativity. My never-ending dance with the muse and awareness that some questions will not know an answer...

When I'm not involved in creating art, you’ll likely find me exploring California's stunning waterways with my kayak, spending time with friends and chosen family, dancing the night away under the stars and moon, or simply enjoying the sunset from my hilltop home—unless the Bay Area fog has other plans.

...Fine Arts and Photography

"the joys of holding a brush or capturing fleeting moments in time"

The act of painting, for me, is a sacred ritual—a communion between the artist, implement, and medium. As I take up the brush, its weight becomes an extension of my self, a conduit through which intention flows. The moment pigment meets canvas is an alchemical one, where formless potential crystallizes into tangible expression. Each stroke is a meditation, a rhythmic dance of creation that anchors me firmly in the present moment.

In this state of focused flow, the boundaries between self and art blur. The visceral texture of paint, the subtle resistance of the canvas, and the interplay of colors become a sensory symphony that demands complete presence. This immersion is a form of mindfulness, an act that silences the clamor of the external world and attunes the senses to the subtle whispers of creativity.

Photography, by contrast, is an art of ephemera—a practice that flirts with time itself. The camera becomes a tool of temporal alchemy, transmuting fleeting instances into enduring images. Each photograph is a sliver of reality, excised from the continuous flow of existence and preserved in perpetuity. These captured moments are more than mere records; they are windows into the very nature of perception, offering insights into how we see and interpret the world around us.

The photographic image holds a unique power to evoke memory and emotion, often surpassing the capacity of language. A single frame can encapsulate entire narratives, cultural contexts, and personal histories. It serves as a bridge between past and present, allowing us to revisit and reinterpret moments long since passed.

Both painting and photography, in their distinct ways, offer pathways to a deeper understanding—of ourselves, our perceptions, and the ever-changing world we inhabit. They are complementary practices that enable us to explore the richness of human experience, one through the deliberate act of creation, and the other through the art of observation and preservation.

...Manifesting a Digital Experience

"Digital art enables us to visualize and conceptualize our dreams and inner visions"

For over three decades, I have been deeply immersed in digital art and graphic design, evolving from creating handmade flyer prints and slide projector shows at events to utilizing early digital design programs and now mastering the latest Adobe Photoshop and AI tools. My journey through digital art reflects a deep commitment to both traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology, allowing me to blend classic artistry with modern innovation. This extensive experience has equipped me with a diverse skill set and a unique perspective, enabling me to produce compelling and dynamic digital artworks that resonate with contemporary audiences.

My artwork has been showcased in galleries, dance floors worldwide, impactful branding designs, and album covers.

...the Art of Production

"silence transforms into tension, oscillating between those polar stages of reality, crafting rhythmic pulses of on and offbeat"

With over three and a half decades of experience in Event Production, I have successfully orchestrated a diverse portfolio of high-profile events, ranging from large-scale music festivals and art exhibitions to specialized entertainment segments for symposiums and corporate gatherings. My expertise has been sought by renowned clients including Art Basel, Montreux Jazz Festival, LoveParades, Boom Festival, HowWeird Festival, and Bruno Weber Sculpture Park.

A pivotal moment in my career was a 1998 internship with H.R. Giger, where I assisted in establishing his museum. This experience enhanced my ability to create immersive environments and led to collaborations with prestigious institutions such as the Tinguely Museum in Basel.

My path in the industry began humbly, as a roadie navigating the backstage labyrinths for countless artists, providing invaluable hands-on experience that informed my transition to organizing multi-day festivals for audiences exceeding 5,000 attendees. Throughout my career, I've maintained a focus on artistic innovation, contributing to large-scale projects for festivals and street parades. My work encompasses stage design, 3D sculptural installations, multimedia experiences, and themed decorations that elevate the attendee experience.

As my role expanded to include advocacy, I embraced the responsibility to shape the future of event production. Championing initiatives for gender parity, I've strived to create inclusive spaces that celebrate diversity in all its forms. Simultaneously, my passion for sustainability has driven the implementation of eco-conscious practices, from pioneering the use of compostable sanitation solutions to developing comprehensive recycling and upcycling strategies for construction materials.

In essence, my career has been dedicated to crafting moments that resonate beyond the ephemeral, leaving lasting imprints on both individual consciousness and collective culture. Each event is approached as an opportunity to weave together art, music, technology, and human connection into tapestries of unforgettable experience.

...an Auditory Storyteller, also known as a DJ

"DJing is like a fusion of lovemaking and alchemy, blending various tracks to conjure a new element of joy and pleasure, invoking a fleeting, magical dance experience for all."

From my earliest age, I was captivated by music, telling my parents what to play next on their 8-track tapes making mixtapes for friends, and experimenting with looping before I even knew the term. Discovering the Swiss band Yello blew my young impressionable mind, expanding my musical horizon beyond my imagination and setting me off on a path of exploration. This journey led to my first DJ gig at a local disco, and I haven't looked back since.

I have performed on a global scale, creating sonic landscapes in diverse settings—from enchanting beaches and majestic mountains to lush forests, ancient ruins, and grand castles. My music has resonated in vibrant urban environments, prominent clubs, lively street celebrations, love parades, and renowned festivals.

As a lifelong disciple of the Healing Arts, I use music as my medium to share knowledge and foster joy. My sets are carefully crafted to embody my quest for a profound sense of purpose and the celebration of existence. Each performance is a spontaneous creation, finely tuned to the prevailing energy and tailored to the needs of the moment.

"In our pursuit of creativity, we abandon convention and dance on the edge of perception. Desiring the muse's transformative kiss, we venture into uncharted realms, knowing that even a misstep into the abyss is a worthy price for a moment of pure artistic revelation."
